We have visited your restaurant several times
over the past few years, but not since two years ago.
We will be traveling to Riviera Maya in April,
and can't wait to come back! Thank you for the time you spent with the Hacienda Restaurant group. They really enjoyed themselves; The Mayan Cooking Demonstration was a perfect event. I cannot thank you again for your help with the TAG program. You guys did an amazing job. I will be passing on your information absolutely. I loved meeting you and cannot thank you again for your time with our group. Your restaurant is amazing- loved your mom and cant wait to see you again. We will be back- if I can take all of my groups there - I would be so lucky! All the very best and more to come We had our reception at the Ajua Maya restaurant, which is also on Avenue 5 and owned by Ajua Weddings. Ajua Maya is by far the best restaurant and the best bar in downtown Playa del Carmen! The food was SOO delicious. We gave our guests a choice of either the BBQ platter or the rib-eye and both were a huge hit! Our vegetarian/vegan option was the spinach enchiladas and those were delicious also. The ceviche was by far their best dish ever – probably the best I’ve ever had! The restaurant is the perfect blend of 5-star dining and laid-back atmosphere. As for the restaurant staff, well, I don’t think there are words to describe what an amazing staff they have at Ajua! They kept all of us entertained throughout the night – from serving food and drinks on their head, to the infamous legs (very funny), and to the best conga line ever (which, I must say, ends with tequila being poured down your mouth!). Ajua Maya also have a live salsa band playing at the restaurant every night. The music was amazing. It definitely gave our wedding the perfect Mexican vibe! Ajua also catered our beach cocktail party and the food they served at the cocktail hour were also huge hits with all of our guests! I’m telling you, these guys can’t do anything wrong! If you are looking for a unique place to have your reception, rehearsal dinner, whatever, definitely go with Ajua Maya! You will have an absolute blast there and I can guarantee that you will leave the restaurant with happy stomachs! HUGE kudos to Maartje, Vaughan and all the staff at Ajua Weddings and Ajua Maya Restaurant! It was truly a beautiful, fun-filled and meaningful event! I’ve finally somewhat recuperated and come back down to reality and wanted to let you know what a superb job you did with the wedding and reception.
I would like to say to you, congratulations for the excellent service, attention and cuisine that you shared with 4 of my guests (from Secrets Capri Hotel on the Riviera Maya) a few days ago in your restaurant. All of them were more than pleased with the personal attention they received and the wonderful dinner the enjoyed. The adored (Ajua Maya) and asked me to convey their congratulations to all of your staff. The left having enjoyed their dinner and with a wonderful impression of your restaurant. For myself, with these comments (from my guests) I can recommend your restaurant with both eyes shut! Thank you for all your work for our wedding ... we will definitely be back soon…this time we’ll stay right in Playa and not in an all inclusive. to come snow boarding anytime…there is about 150cm of snow
in the mountains right now…and we came home to lots of
snow today! We are missing the beach and our tans are quickly

We of "Barry's" group had a great time on Valentines Day. You did an awesome job of helping us celebrate Barry's Birthday. Oh by the way...the meal was excellent. Thank you for having such a fun and wonderful restaurant. We had such a good time that we visited 3 evenings during the week we were there. Enjoy!  We celebrated New Year's Eve at AJUA! on December 31st, 2003 with 55 of our family and friends that had traveled to Playa del Carmen for our wedding. Brenda was fantastic helping us plan our dinner. We arranged everything over email, and Brenda went out of her way to accommodate our group and even added little extras to make the evening even more special for us, like fun decorations and specially printed menus. She promised us a night we'd never forget, and that's just what we got. The amazing food, music, and fun waiters provided exactly the atmosphere we were seeking. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves eating, drinking, enjoying the music, dancing, and just generally having a wonderful time! The staff was wonderfully interactive and ensured that everyone had a fantastic time. We highly recommend AJUA as not only an amazing restaurant, but a fantastic place to hold any size celebration for a truly memorable time. Thank you to everyone at AJUA!

Just
wanted to drop you a note to say we made it home safely and it’s
back to reality and work today. I wanted you to know it was great to
finally meet you and your family. We had such an amazing time and could
not have pictured a more perfect day for our wedding.

We just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed dining at your restaurant and meeting both of you! What a wonderful establishment you have in Playa del Carmen! The food is delicious, the waiters are fun and exciting, and we had a wonderful time there. We are including a couple of pictures taken at Ajua just so you'll remember us.
